Leisure Valley Park

Leisure Valley park

Nestled amidst the concrete jungle of Gurugram is a verdant natural retreat – . Spread across a sprawling 62 acres near Sectors 29 and 42, this park offers a much-needed breather from the city’s hustle. With abundant greenery, scenic views, and recreational facilities, it has become a go-to weekend spot for many Gurugram residents.

Attractions That Made My Day

My favourite spot was the beautiful man-made lake for boating. Rowing a pedal boat (₹100 per hour) across the lake, with the gorgeous tree-lined landscape in the backdrop, was a calming experience.

The musical fountain show in the evening was another highlight – the dancing water jets swaying to Bollywood tunes felt almost therapeutic.

I also enjoyed strolling through the sprawling butterfly garden. With colourful flowers like zinnias, pentas and torch glory, it was teeming with butterfly species like common Mormons, common grassshoppers and plain tigers.

The amphitheatre hosts cultural programs in the evenings. Unfortunately, I missed it but it’s on my list for my next visit!
